Privacy Policy
Last updated October 16, 2026
This policy explains what Rowlead collects when you use rowlead.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It describes the lead-finding product we run today.
Who we are
Rowlead helps you find public conversations where someone may want a product like yours, then draft a reply you can post yourself. We do not post to Reddit, X, or any other site for you.
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, and a password if you create one. Passwords are stored only as a hash.
- Google sign-in: if you continue with Google, we receive the name, email address, and profile image Google shares with us.
- Product details: the product URL, description, and keywords you enter so we can search for relevant public posts.
- Saved leads and drafts: when you save a lead or generate a reply, we store the public post text, link, and the public author details shown on that post, plus the draft you edit.
- Alerts: an email address and keywords if you turn on email alerts.
- Billing: if you start a trial or subscription, Stripe collects your payment details. We store Stripe customer and subscription IDs, your plan, and whether access is active. We do not store your card number.
Information we collect as you use the product
- Usage needed to run quotas, such as scans and AI replies used.
- A daily reply count and streak, stored separately from your account profile, so you can see which days you showed up.
- Basic logs such as browser type, pages visited, and the time of a request, used to keep the site working and to understand aggregate traffic.
- Google Analytics cookies if they are enabled, which tell us how the site is used in aggregate.
Public posts
Searches read public posts that match your keywords. We do not ask for your Reddit or X password. A post is stored in your account when you save it or when a scan needs it to tell new posts from ones you have already seen.
Those posts were published by other people. You are responsible for how you use them and for anything you later post.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and to show your dashboard.
- To search for public posts, score which ones look like buying intent, and draft replies for you to edit.
- To send product email you ask for, such as alerts and account messages.
- To charge for a subscription through Stripe, including a 3-day trial when you start one.
- To prevent abuse, fix errors, and understand which parts of the site people use.
AI providers
To score a post or draft a reply, we send the post text and your product description to an AI provider such as OpenAI or Google. Those providers process that content to return a result. Do not put secrets, passwords, or private customer lists into product descriptions or drafts.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers only so they can run the product: hosting and the database, Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and analytics, email delivery, and the AI provider that scores posts and drafts replies. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users.
How long we keep it
We keep account, product, lead, and billing records while your account is open and as long as we need them for security, tax, or dispute records. You can ask us to delete your account. We will delete or de-identify personal information we no longer need, except where we must keep a record.
Your choices
- Access or correct the name and email on your account, or ask us to send you a copy of the personal information we hold.
- Ask us to delete your account and the leads, drafts, and product details stored with it.
- Cancel a subscription from the billing page. Canceling stops future charges. It does not by itself delete the account.
- Block analytics cookies in your browser. The product still works if you do.
- If you are in the EEA, UK, or a US state with a privacy law, you can object to or limit certain uses, and you can complain to your local authority. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children
Rowlead is for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We use access controls, hashed passwords, and encrypted connections. No website can promise that storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the product after that date means you accept the updated policy.
